Courtney McGhee joined Symbria in 2000 as the company’s first rehab Regional Director and moved into a Senior Regional Director position in 2019. Now, in her role as Vice President, Rehab Operations, she oversees the rehab division’s clinical and financial operations throughout the country, including programs in skilled nursing communities, outpatient programs, and home health services.

Courtney has made significant contributions to Symbria’s responses to the evolution of healthcare delivery over the years. She leads and nurtures the teams responsible for enhancing the delivery of clinical care within the parameters of applicable reimbursement and prudent cost management. She also maintains a consistent focus on maintaining high levels of client satisfaction as well as robust staff retention rates.

Courtney’s early career began in acute care, where she earned her certification in Neuro-Developmental Treatment and served as lead physical therapist. She then became Director of Physical Therapy in 1990 and became Director of Rehabilitation in 1994, which she continued until her move to Symbria in 2000.
