Michelle is a seasoned human resources leader with a deep-rooted passion for workforce development and community service.  She brings decades of experience in nonprofit services, particularly in organizations supporting adults and children with disabilities.

Her career began as a Certified Nursing Assistant in long-term care, where she developed a strong foundation in direct service. Through dedication and leadership, she progressively advanced into director and executive roles, including Vice President of Human Resources and Chief Operating Officer. While excelling in operations, she ultimately returned to her true passion—cultivating and supporting the workforce.

Michelle holds a Master’s Degree in Human Resource Development and a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Services from Northeastern Illinois University. Currently, she is pursuing a doctorate in Education Policy and Leadership with a focus on Workforce Development at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
